DELHI LOCKDOWN 2021: GUIDELINES AND RULES

On April 25, CM Arvind Kejriwal announced an extension of the closure announced in Delhi on April 19, 5 a.m. The CM noted that the ongoing lockdown that was scheduled to conclude at 5 am on May 3 now stands extended for another week because COVID-19 has not decreased and the positivity rate has been so high. By the way, the Delhi Supreme Court on Monday urged the AAP government to set up more test centers, which are registering more than 24,000 new infections for the country, amid the surge in coronavirus cases in the state capital. The order was issued by the court after several lawyers told the court that they were having difficulty getting tested as the labs said they would be sampling after 2-3 days. Delhi recorded 22,933 cases with a positive rate of 30.21 percent.

Delhi has been in the midst of a crisis for almost two weeks. People are struggling to find hospital beds, oxygen cylinders for home disease management, medicines, and help from government officials. People displaced for lack of beds, oxygen, and staff, and many patients have died breathlessly while waiting to be admitted outside the doors of the hospital. The Jaipur Golden Hospital intensive care unit late at night after midline oxygen pressure dropped. At least 25 seriously ill Covid-19 patients died in Ganga Ram Hospital between Thursday and Friday morning.

 The Lockdown in New Delhi has another time extended, here’s what is going to stay open and what will remain closed in the national capital:

•    All social, political, sports activities, entertainment! academic, cultural, religious, competition associated and different amassing and congregations aren't allowed. Sporting occasions for countrywide or International sports activities may also arise without spectators.The numbers of cases will continue to rise in India, and the danger of contracting the novel coronavirus will remain very real, even if the lockdown ends.
